Sandvik Hard Materials (SHM), a company within the business area Sandvik Tooling, manufactures a wide variety of products in cemented carbide, ranging from advanced industrial tools and customer-specific components for the engineering industry to high-volume blanks for tools and hot rolls for the steel industry.We are now looking for an office assistant to work at SHM, based in Sandviken.Key performance areas The person in this position will mainly support the Executive Vice President and HR Director.Primary responsibilities include travel and calendar planning, the development and printing of presentation materials and telephone standby, as well as coordinating training programs and business visits.The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task with different projects.There are also several types of documentation to manage.Due to the nature of this position, other tasks will be assigned as and when.The position includes extensive communication with managers and employees world-wide.Your profile Our business is high-paced and flexible, so we are looking for a qualified and proactive Assistant who enjoys supporting the business by providing excellent service.You are skilled at combining service, initiative and independence with quality and accuracy.Experience in an international environment is highly desirable.You should be flexible, able to handle assorted projects simultaneously and to work independently.Several years of administrative experience are preferable.We require fluency in English and Swedish, written and spoken.High levels of proficiency in Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, Word and Excel are essential. Annual sales 2009 were about SEK 19,000 M with 15,000 employees.Products are manufactured in cemented carbide, high-speed steel and other hard materials such as diamond, cubic boron nitride and special ceramics.
