Introduction:
Galenica was established in 1999 and remains privately owned. Headquartered in Medeon Science Park, Malmö, the company comprises 3 Business Units: a CRO, CMO and the Pharma Business. The portfolio of three pharmaceutical products within dermatology is marketed in multiple regions of Europe. The future holds great promise in working across both Rx and OTC business areas with current and future products. In addition, there are plans for expanding the geographical reach of the portfolio. In the role of Brand Manager, you will be the focal point of the company’s Rx brand and associated campaigns.

The role
Our small Sales & Marketing team engage across stakeholders, products, boarders and company functions to optimise our business. Although there are defined areas of responsibility, our mindset is to consistently challenge each other and ourselves whilst working as a team.

Primary responsibilities:
Strategy

- Develop and implement strategies for our Ovixan-brand in the Nordics. Prioritization of stakeholders leading to a plan of action for sales and/or access optimization. Function as Chairman of the cross functional-Ovixan Brand team. Help build and refine optimal value proposition of the Galenica portfolio.

Execution

- Gather insights from the market with the purpose of developing an in-depth understanding of the dermatology market in order to identify growth levers. By direct customer engagement, promote the added value of the products and Galenica. Support optimizing the access position of the Galenica portfolio. Develop and prepare/make available marketing materials. Adhere to industry rules, regulations and best practice guidelines.

Field

- Approximately up to 50% of the time with external parties (in the field) e.g. HCPs, partners. Key contact person for external stakeholder and organize internal / external meetings.

Qualifications

- Bachelors´ degree within a relevant subject, e.g. nursing, pharmacy, medicine, or a commercial background with a passed LIF exam, or equivalent experience (required).
- Minimum 10 years commercial experience from life sciences/healthcare industry
- Experience with prescription products sold outside of hospitals and ideally with OTC products as well.
- Experience with Medical and Regulatory Compliance of marketing materials and meetings in the industry
- Recent experience and existing networks in the field of dermatology is an asset (preferred).
- Knowledge of HTA bodies and Value based medicine (preferred).
- Ability to spend some nights away from home – approx. 20 travel days/year. (required).
- Proficient in Swedish and English language, both in writing and verbal (required).
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (required).
