Business Developer

Exciting Business Development position with leading Home Entertainment Distributor. Bonver is the Nordic region's major Home Entertainment distributor.We distribute Film, Music and Multimedia products in both physical and digital form in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.Bonver was founded 1983, has a turnover of approximately SEK 800 million and employs 450 people, of which 40 are based in Norway.We are now looking at expanding our business into the USA with our concepts for selling and renting out DVDs and Music CDs.Due to this we are looking to recruit for a new position within our Business and Development Department.The position will include market research for Bonver s concepts within Home Entertainment, both digital and physical, as well as choice of titles in the assortment.The key responsibilities would be: *Market research.*Contacts with right holders, studios and independents.*Contact with convenience stores.*Building up an assortment. Qualifications and/or Experience Required: Requirements are a BA and an exceptional knowledge of the film- and music industry in the USA.The ambition is that the position will have a significant impact on shaping the future of the business; therefore an ideal candidate should be well connected and have already built up contacts with right holders in the USA. As a person, you are self going, curious and have no problem with doing anything that needs to be done.The position is a permanent half time job from Oct 1st 2009 and the place of work is Lidingö outside Stockholm.
