Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The objective for the Finance and Business Control function, KC, is to support and enable profitable and cost-efficient business activities that deliver customer value within Sales and Marketing (S&M). The department is responsible for navigating through performance and follow-up S&M's global activities/business areas in order to support operations to initiate corrective actions. The function carries out several activities including business controlling, business development, analysis, and reporting as well as inventory records.

We’re looking to strengthen our team in the journey towards a more digitalized way of working. As a Business Developer, you will have an important role to drive changes and support the controllers in the KC organization. You will report to the Head of Central control and will be part of a team of five located in Södertälje and cooperate with colleagues in KC and S&M.

Main responsibilities:


• Be a part of and drive the ongoing digitalization journey which includes everything from streamlining chart of accounts to implementing BI tools into our existing processes
• Challenge processes and identify waste
• Work as a driving force for cross-functional initiatives within KC, S&M, and Scania
• Ownership of IT systems
• Perform Controller tasks in book closings and projections

Who are you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with MS in Economics and Business and a solid financial background in Controlling and Accounting. You probably also have experience in leading projects related to digitalization or IS/IT. At least a general interest in IS/IT is a must since a lot of your time will be spent on either improving or implementing them. As a person, you are a team player with a positive “can-do” attitude and the ability to influence an organization towards a more efficient way of working. You’re not afraid to speak up or to challenge current situations or processes. You are fluent in English both spoken and written and at least a basic user of Swedish. Knowledge in HFM/Smart view, Microsoft Office, and Power BI are seen as meritious.
