Business Development Intern to eBay/Tradera

As part of an on going initiative to recruit, develop and retain high potential individuals at eBay/Tradera, we are now looking to recruit 5 interns with a passion for enabling trade between buyers and sellers; serving the needs of a self-directing market of members. The Business Development team develop and drive an easy and safe end-to-end customer experience on We constantly improve user interface, site usability and functions to deliver a top notch user experience. We also:

Develop pricing, buying and selling formats to fully succeed in reaching business objectives across target e-commerce segments Analyse, identify, conceptualize, prioritize and follow-through on external business development opportunities in line with Tradera's strategy and priorities Carry out business analytics focusing on traffic and customer behaviours in key flows as well as the market & competitors

The position as Business Development Analytics Intern will include challenges within strategy and planning, analytics and execution. Create a customer experience in line with the company's strategy together with the rest of the business development team Support the Business Development team with customer, partnership and industry analytics to provide insights and recommendations for business improvements within Buyer and Seller Experience. Carry out qualitative and quantitative buying, selling and visitor behaviour analytics on Tradera in order to determine the right customer experience activities to achieve business objectives. Work with Marketing, Tech and Customer Support teams in delivering activities that improve the customer experience with a clear articulation of target groups, objectives and metrics.

Required skills & experience Ability to distil complex business issues and strategies from a volume of complex details Significant quantitative course work such as Statistics, Economics and Business Solid experience and skills in using MS Office and especially Excel and PowerPoint Strong written and oral communication skills in both Swedish and English Curiosity and interest in e-commerce/technology is highly desirable, as is international experience.
