As part of a close-knit and highly professional team, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the technology aspects of the calibration processes for Getinge Critical Care’s tools regarding quality and cost. Responsibilities
The main purpose of the role is to secure high quality production at a low cost in the best possible way. As calibration engineer, you will drive continuous improvement within your scope of responsibility and interact with a wide variety of internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities and tasks included in this position are:
Organizing and lead the work within calibration technology
Ensuring the calibration and maintenance of equipment
Ensuring that deviations are managed and carry out impact assessments
Maintaining and developing our processes in production quality, e.g. calibration, incoming inspection and failure analysis, according to standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinating and guarantee the introduction of new tools
Giving support to the production lines regarding technical problems with the production tools
Maintaining and update calibration instructions to latest standards
Collaborating closely with the development team for technical solutions
Follow-up of calibration statistics at Getinge Critical Care
The position is located at our manufacturing site in Solna, and you will be reporting to the Manager Production Quality.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position we believe you need to have:
Master’s degree in Engineering or similar experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience from the manufacturing industry
Experience from calibration processes, ISO 17025
Experience in process development
Working proficiency in Swedish and English, both in written and spoken
Experience of software such as LabView, EasyView or MetCal is a plus, as well as experience from the medical device industry.
As a person you have to be a result oriented team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills. To be successful in the calibration engineering role you need to have integrity as well as a positive and supportive mindset. Furthermore, it is important that you have a flexible and proactive approach and thrive in a role with a lot of interaction with different stakeholders.
