COO to a successful producing Company in Uppsala


Job Description


As COO you will drive results by promoting a performance-oriented culture and effective systems for the entire organization. You will have direct line responsibility for technical operations and supply chain including outsourced production, in-house production, procurement and logistics.
Reporting to the CEO, the COO’s tasks and responsibilities include:


Provide leadership across the organization delivering both technical expertise and commercial acumen
Drive operational excellence in best practices, benchmark, quality principles, world-class technology and tools, productivity, and analytics
Optimize collaboration between Sales, R&D, engineering, production and logistics teams
Create the industrialization roadmap that captures innovation, reduces costs and enhances product quality
Measure effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes, both internally and externally, and develop ways to improve processes
Lead manufacturing design in collaboration with R&D, manufacturing and logistics teams
Develop benchmarking processes and methodologies to comply with specifications and customer requirements
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish both trust and drive in productivity improvements
Develop quality-control programs to define workload, resources, standards and metrics that ensure no disruption throughout the manufacturing and supply chain cycle
Maximize working capital management at every stage
Manage technical operation expansion activities (corporate alliances, production hubs etc.)



Job Requirements


A minimum of 10+ years of strong operational experience including 5+ years in senior management roles
Experience in technical operations and manufacturing from a quality focused segment
Proven experience with profit and loss responsibility
Knowledge of ERP system is a plus
Fluent in English and Swedish
Preferably an education MBA and/or MSc in Engineering/Business administration or corresponding experience
