SVEA Solar was founded in Dec 2013 in Stockholm, Sweden, and has since the beginning been operating on the market of solar energy. Going from 2013 with two co-finders to 400 employees operating in Sweden, Spain, Germany and Benelux region made us a unicorn company, being the fastest growing company in Sweden in all categories in 2019.

The growth has been intentional, since our vision is to be a leader in the shift to a sustainable society. To be a leader and to really make a positive impact on the environment, we need to grow fast and be big, to be able to reach and influence thousands of customers globally. Therefore, the intention is to keep expanding the business globally to achieve our goal of a 100% renewable energy production.

What you will do

We are looking to fill the position as Chief Human Resources Officer of SVEA Solar. The role includes the overall HR responsibility over all markets across Europe, as you will be part of the global executive team. On a strategic level you will have a key role in developing and implementing routines and processes, culture, leadership etc. The role is stationed in Stockholm but will include some travelling in Europe.

Since this is a new role in the company, you will have the ability to set up new policies together with the management team, and really make your mark on the organization. This is truly a unique role in a truly unique company.

• Talent Acquisition
• Organizational and space planning
• Organization development
• Performance management and improvement systems
• Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns
• Policy development and documentation
• Employee branding
• Learning and development
• Company-wide committee facilitation
• Company employee and community communication
• Compensation and benefits
• Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
• Employee services and counseling

In this role you will be able to build up your local teams within each country/region and have national HR Managers reporting to you. You will be the one setting strategies and developing routines and policies spanning across all markets. Through your local national teams, you will also be responsible for executing and compliance of those policies.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development.
• Above average oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR staff members.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction.
• Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
• Five plus years of progressive leadership experience in HR positions.
• Experience in working in a high phase hyper growth global company
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
