For this role we are looking for someone with a genuine passion for engineering the best vehicles in the world. You will be working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company, leading the way in the hypercar business. You’ll work alongside accomplished, world-renowned engineers on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today.

As a COTS or (Common Off The Shelf) Component Engineer you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining standard library parts in 3DX. The primary focus of this position will be the improvement and implementation of a fastener/COTS component library for the entire Koenigsegg engineering organization, to strengthen and streamline our design process. Eventually this library will be expanded to include all COTS parts used in our designs.

Responsibilities

- Generate 3D models, 2D drawings using Catia V6 inside the 3DExperience platform
- Generate and release fastener/COTS family configuration models
- Update and maintain COTS libraries
- Support of release of COTS parts into production (3DX)
- Work closely with production, aftermarket, prototype, quality, electrical, as well as CAE, and homologation department
- Organize and carry out tests to verify component function and requirement
- Interaction with purchasing, suppliers, and manufacturers to source COTS parts

Need to have

- YH or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Design experience with CATIA V5, V6. 3DX preferred
- Knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Experience with fastener configuration and part family design
- Experience with detail drafting and modeling
- Experience with PLM system
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional level of English
