Cross-Cultural Facilitator (Pre-Departure Orientation)
Short term assignments between 1 day to 15 days


IOM country office in Finland is looking for Swedish residents with the ability to provide pre-departure orientation for Sweden-bound quota refugees in the refugees' native languages. The orientation takes place in the refugees' respective countries of first asylum or is conducted remotely before their resettlement in Sweden. The successful candidate will attend a Training of Trainers (ToT) that will consist of self-study materials, online sessions and work practice.

The consultant will be responsible for conducting the following assignments:
.Provide pre-departure orientation (PDO) sessions to Sweden-bound quota refugees living in their countries of first asylum
.Participate in an online planning meeting prior to each PDO training
.Assess available training materials and provide feedback on them through IOM feedback mechanisms
.Submit a report based on an IOM reporting form after each training
.Participate in monitoring and evaluation studies carried out by IOM when requested
.Assist in other duties that may be assigned to the candidate by the Sub-Regional Coordinator or the Project Coordinator
