We are looking for a Development Engineer who will contribute to the development of our sterilization and filling equipment for our packages. Join our competent team within D&E Equipment Engineering working in agile SCRUM projects to develop solutions for sterilization and filling applications for our packages. You will be an important individual contributor who will in the beginning focus on filling technology development, optimizing the way we fill liquid food into our packages, e.g. yoghurt.


You will report to Manager Sterilisation & Filling in Lund.
This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden.


What you will do
As our Development Engineer Sterilization & Filling, you will:
· Support the translation of requirements into machine and equipment design.
· Define, develop, and deploy innovative sterilization & filling solutions.
· Drive and perform verification and validation activities for solutions.
· Define tests and simulations, analyse sterilization & filling performance & functionality, and document results using reports.
· Support activities according to existing procedures, standards, and methods.
· Drive root cause investigations to understand problems and improve performance and functionality for different sterilization and filling purposes.
· Drive risk assessment and improve our sterilization and filling solutions.

We believe you have:
· Master’s degree within Mechanical-, Design engineering or similar.
· 4+ years’ experience in developing FOOD industry equipment.
· Experience of working with processing-, liquid foods- or with gas technology.
· Experience of different test methods, mainly physical- but also virtual testing.
· Experience of qualitative product validation and verification work.
· Experience of working in SCRUM-teams and agile methods.
· Experience from FOOD industry working with yoghurt is meritorious.
· Fluent in English, written as well as spoken.
