Digital Platform Specialist

Digital Platform Specialist

Arbetsbeskrivning

Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Right now, we’re taking an exciting step in transforming our market-leading business even further within the area of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. We do this by founding an independent, growth-oriented and customer-centric Business Area by the name of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. A place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation - where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.

We’re now looking for a structured, analytical and forward-thinking Digital Platform Specialist – someone who’s both eager and well equipped to ensure optimized and user friendly platforms for the marketing of our new brand and for spreading the word of our business. Join us and shape the future of manufacturing!

About the job
In this position, you manage and develop our digital platforms – including the intranet and the external website – from a marketing and communications perspective, and you ensure that we have the optimized setup we need to build accessible and informative arenas for our stakeholders and customers. This means proactively planning and coordinating all our digital platform initiatives and activities, as well as managing ad hoc actions and maintenance when needed. You strategically and operationally advise us in digital matters, and by mixing a holistic perspective with an eye for details, you help us develop and constantly search for improvements. Naturally, you also ensure legal compliance for our digital presence and that we follow the given internal platform directives.

Close collaboration is central, and you work together with Sandvik IT and other resources in the digital platforms community within Sandvik Group to find effective systems, processes, synergies and best practices for shared platforms. Other important tasks include being the system owner and managing an up to date strategy and activity plan for our platform. You explore new tools for design, development and implementation of web environments, and you also look at trends and new directions to get a broad insight and understanding of how to enhance our existing and future use of web-based channels.

You report to the Vice President and Head of Marketing & Communications of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. This position is based in the Svedala/Malmö area, although Stockholm or other locations could be discussed.

About you
We’re looking for someone with a relevant academic degree – most likely in digital communication, web management or data analytics – combined with experience from working with digital platforms and information management on a global scale. You’re used to driving projects from start to end, have a service minded attitude, and you easily collaborate and network with various stakeholders. On top of this, you need excellent skills in intranet and web publishing tools such as EpiServer and Sharepoint, as well as broad knowledge of system integration, search engine optimization and website analytics. You understand how to organize information and you create activity plans based on what is working and what needs to be improve. We’re a global business, and you need excellent writing, editing and speaking skills in English, while any other language skills are beneficial.

You truly enjoy analytics and digging deep into the functionality of our digital platforms, but at the same time, you’re very outgoing, communicative and collaborative. Transforming the needs of our internal and external stakeholders into efficient, user friendly solutions is always on top of your mind, and you prioritize and take initiatives to make it happen. Add a bit of curiosity, a flexible approach and a passion for development, and you’re the one we need for this job!
