Digital Project Specialist - Machine Investments

Arbetsbeskrivning

At Sandvik Coromant, we pride ourselves on pushing boundaries and testing limits by rethinking, redefining and redesigning to figure out what’s possible to achieve. We offer a global, innovative and inclusive setting, with passionate minds and industry leading solutions in metal cutting, and we’re always on the lookout for talented people who’d like to extend their potential together with us!
For Sales Area North Europe and our Strategic Relations team, we currently need a tech-savvy Digital Project Specialist to join us – someone with the energy, drive and innovative approach to lead the way towards digital success. Are you up for exciting collaborations with internal and external partners, supporting machine builders and agents, and not to forget working with our end users? Then this is a great chance for you to get onboard our global growth journey!
Your job
In this position, you’re responsible for delivering digital solutions to our customers, stakeholders and partners and you do this in close collaboration with Account Managers and Application Specialists to grow share of wallet. Together you aim to provide best-in-class business and tech advice to our stakeholders, that in the end will bring the shortest possible return on our customers’ investments.
You support the Frontline Sales teams in identifying new investment leads, where you act as the link between them and our European Digital Sales Development team. You also contribute in prioritizing, managing and closing machine investment opportunities. By constantly communicating and coordinating with the wider organization, you ensure smooth, cost-efficient and timely delivery of our digital projects. You participate in trade events – for example at machine manufacturers, agents and distributors – and use your people skills to build strong relations with contacts in this area. Yes, networking and collaboration are truly your most important keys in this role!
By keeping a broad business mindset, you explore new digital machining opportunities across the sales area and for our supporting products and services, such as software and tech consulting. Additionally, you engage in the implementation of provided solutions at our end user sites.
To be in a perfect spot for driving digital projects and building strong networks in Sales Area North Europe, you’re based at our office in Kista (Sweden), but we also give you the flexibility to work from your home. Travel within the region is included in your job, meaning you need a valid driver’s license.
About you
We’re looking for a tech-driven and digitally skilled professional with experience from the cutting tool industry and its applications, as well as machine interface solutions. You hold a background in customer-centric roles within sales or services and understand the machine market in the Nordic countries. Your knowledge is grounded by a relevant university degree in a technical field, and you bring a great understanding of business and performance drivers.
CAD/CAM experience is desirable, and you’re skilled in the Office 365 applications including Teams, Dynamics and Power BI. Your strong interest in Industry 4.0 technologies and solutions are also essential to us. Since we’re a truly global organization, you need to be fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages, while other language skills could come in handy.
You’re committed, forward-thinking and outgoing. A person who takes ownership of your tasks, with the skills to prioritize and multitask to deliver results on time. With a modern business mindset and a digital approach, you challenge us to look at new perspectives – aiming to bring our business towards the future. You encourage people around you to always share their views and ideas, as you believe that no subject is too big or small to discuss. Interacting with many various stakeholders, you also understand that success comes from great teamwork and transparent, straightforward communication.
