Today, we’re expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we’re on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

What´s in it for you

Volvo Cars’ bold plans of going electric and online also mean that we need to transform across several interconnected areas. If you are interested in Supply Chain Management and truly cross-functional transformation work centered around our future commercial and industrial setup, this is a great opportunity for you!
As a Distribution Transformation Lead, you will become the key person when it comes to designing our future network and distribution setup to support the new business model and implementation of new business concepts such as rapid delivery in an online experience.

What will you do

You will be part of the Global Planning & Distribution Transformation team which is a business development organization within Supply Chain Management (SCM) with a dedicated focus on transformation. We are an enabler of Volvo Cars’ future ambitions and strategy ensuring that the SCM function is fit for purpose and fully can support Volvo Cars’ ambitious plans.
Your focus will be mainly on the distribution transformation where we aim to create a single global vehicle distribution network that will deliver all brands and business models at the right cost, service and level of sustainability for our customers.
You will be responsible for driving transformational initiatives globally and securing that the distribution network and digital backbone are implemented on time and with quality to achieve our ambitions. A key success factor will be your ability to drive change in a fast pace environment, be a leader with strong problem-solving capabilities and lead cross-functional work in an engaging and inclusive way.

Are you our next future oriented leader?

You have several years of experience in Supply Chain Management either in consultancy or in business. You are probably also an experienced project leader with track record of leading highly skilled individual contributors and experts.
You are creative, convincing and you know how to bring your ideas to fruition.
Success in this role will depend on your ability to be creative, plan your ideas and bring your colleagues and your stakeholders (both internal and external) on the journey with you keeping a keen eye on delivering on promises related to your area of focus.
You are a strong voice in the settings where you interact. You ensure the space for other people’s ideas and incorporated their ideas with yours to achieve the best possible result.
To you, results are more important than fame. You believe in fact-based problem solving and share the credit with your colleagues/stakeholders and use it to build momentum, excitement, and engagement.
You follow through on your ideas and your commitments. People around you see you as trustworthy, dependable and a collaborator. You balance the interests of everyone, and you are proactive in shaping expectations from stakeholders as well as communicate your expectations clearly.
