teenage engineering is now looking for an enthusiastic and skilled electronics engineer to join the team. this is a position that entails working with projects from concept through to mass production, continually pushing the boundaries utilizing new technologies in our products.

job description
this is an engaging role working with everything from architecture to component selection, schematic capture and board layout to validation and manufacturing. together with our hardware team you will be involved working on electronics for internal product, investigations, and new technology prototypes as well as design process optimization to automated test-systems. in this position you will also get the opportunity to travel to production sites in Asia, a few times per year.

key qualifications
you have work experience designing portable electronics and/or digital audio systems. you also have solid hands on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional and electrical verification. we find it to be a strong merit if you have experience from production ramp up of new consumer products at contract manufactures or ODMs. you speak Swedish and are fluent in English, both verbal and written. you are passionate about hardware and embedded system design and an experienced Altium designer user.

you also have
good knowledge of high-speed digital & low power designs.

system level understanding of architectures and trade-offs for performance and cost.

strong analytical and problem solving skills with good documentation habits

experience in design, simulation, and verification of mixed signal boards.

to be successful in this role and at teenage engineering you need to be organized as a person, and be inspired and efficient even during times of high pace. You’re nonhierarchical in attitude with focus on results and quality and you enjoy working in a dynamic small international team.
