For this role we are looking for someone with passion and drive for combustion engine software development. Have gathered some years of experience and now searching for new challenges and be a part of a growing team that paves the path while walking on it. Open for new ideas and proving them either wrong or right leading by doing. You will be part of a team supporting the Koenigsegg unique cam less system. You will have a direct possibility to influence the product and investigate new paths. You will be working closely with external and internal customers in an entrepreneurial start-up like organization. You will be part of the company growth in putting the most interesting technology in the combustion engine market yet to date.

As an Embedded Software engineer you will be responsible to design, develop and test the Software integration on ECU level. Planning and executing testing on different platforms to fit future needs of the product.

Responsibilities

- Design and debug application-level software, both in embedded systems and desktop environments
- Design and prototype new concepts
- Support our production and service departments
- Work with a small, agile cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers.
- Structure and deliver release packages for production and customers
- Participate in the development of our way of working

Need to have

- Fluency in the English language.
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Minimum 3 years of relevant, post-graduate, full time, experience.
- Proficient in C and C++.
- High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Experience in writing and shipping customer-facing code.
- Experience using common design patterns in the software industry.
- Experience of version control and build systems.
- Experience working with CAN bus analyzers and protocols.
- Experience in Linux.

Meritorious

- Experience in troubleshooting automotive electrical systems a plus.
- Experience in low-level programming in real-time systems a plus.
- Experience in hardware design a plus.
