The job means that you will be seated directly with our customers as part of their team for software localization. Your tasks will include translations from English to Finnish and identifications of changes that indicate that location may be required. You should have an eye for details which is an important part of monitoring bugs, followed by escalation, reporting and resolving problems. Quality is something you have in your mind constantly and you are actively working to maintain the high quality of your work. You will be working towards many different departments and in-house teams to ensure that the process runs smoothly and according to agreed timetables. You should have experience in translation and / or training in Linguistics and a good knowledge of English. It is required that you have previous experience and knowledge in the use of computerized tools and systems for translations. Furthermore, it is essential that you can handle large volumes of technical translations of software for end users, experience in the translation of specific products such as audio / video software is an advantage. To work well in groups is natural to you and you are clear in your communication, experience of working in a multicultural environment is an advantage.
