As a Future Category Leader you have a challenging assignment within our Purchasing Strategists team. Your main task is global strategic purchasing responsibility for a specific range or material within the business area. You build, develop and secure capacity. You drive the development of production set ups to reach the best long term deal for IKEA. You are an important contributor to the product development process. As a Future Category Leader we offer you an assignment in connection with strong focus on your development and future career. You are part of a global network and you have contact with trading areas and suppliers all over the world. If you can show results we will show you opportunities! At the end of your first two to three years at IKEA we expect you to take on a challenging assignment as one of our Category Leaders. You have knowledge and experience of industrial production and a couple of years of experience in doing complex business. We believe you have a university degree within business, industry or engineering. You have high sense of business and leadership as well as a strategic mind. You like to think outside the box, are very communicative with high energy. You communicate fluently in English.
