We need someone who can strategically lead this critically important topic – someone who can conceptualise and develop thinking to realise real business benefits. We need your future of work content knowledge and confidence together with your mastery at building relationships and working interdependently to revolutionise our learning landscape – it will be one of our biggest leaps in the People & Culture agenda and requires a determination and transformation mindset which is unrivalled.


As both internal and external representative and sparring partner for the future of work agenda you will be constantly updating your own knowledge and competence in the field and sharing that in the organisation to ensure that all our leaders have a future of work understanding and mindset – the impact and influence of this role therefore is significant.
You will be able to take the holistic perspective whilst at the same time have an eye for detail and analytic thinking. Your communication and collaboration with others will make a real difference to our business and delivering the future of work agenda.


To succeed as a Future of Work Manager, you will need:


• 10+ years of experience from diverse HR roles ideally with experience in the business, innovation and/or strategy development
• Experience of large transformation initiatives – a consultancy or business background with focus on leading impactful change is a big advantage
• The ability to impact and influence at a very senior level
• To be commercially driven, financially astute and performance oriented
• Experience from senior leadership /business roles within IKEA would be a big advantage

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of the Future of Work Manager is to be responsible for radical innovation to shape, lead and execute our Future of Work strategy and action plans ensuring that we achieve our business growth plans and overall delivery of the People Strategy. You will have shared responsibility with the business as we develop new ways of working and be an internal and external thought collaborator when it comes to Future of Work!.


You will:


• Establish a ‘think tank’ approach whereby we shape the thinking around Future of Work, being at the forefront and pioneering amongst other ideas radical new forms of employment and work models including the way we lead, work and organise ensuring that co-workers are equipped and skilled for the future
• Establish relevant task forces to co-create around our Future of Work critical movements with the needed internal and external competence to secure concept through to execution
• Revolutionise our total learning concept and landscape to be fit for the future to execute our life-long learning strategy and to meet the fast-growing reskilling and upskilling needs, including how we will lead, work and organize around it and ultimately resulting in generating and sustaining employability
• Increase flexibility in how we work as well as in our work assignments through creating an Ingka point of view on workplaces of the future including remote work, work across multiple areas and locations within the business.
• Predict future jobs and skills through mapping declining, changing and emerging jobs and matching the existing skills’ gap
• Find new, smart and modern ways of developing our people


This position is located in Malmö and will report to the Group People & Culture Manager.
