At our Global planning Inserts department, we're responsible for planning all production sites for Coromant globally. There are three main processes on a global scale to consider – what’s the needs, what’s in stock and how much do we need to produce? You will be the one responsible for these questions. Your mission - Make a difference!
As our next Global Planning Manager, you lead our departments to work forward according to strategies and demands. You have a direct impact on Coromant’s results and therefore a contribution to the success. Overall, you’re responsible for the planning and inventory control of the Sandvik Coromant Insert supply and our distribution centers worldwide. You organize, lead and prioritize our work to reach targets, service levels, and networking capital, and you actively participate in our S&OP process. By gathering valuable insights and strategically evaluating our processes and various scenarios, you support us in making informed and timely decisions in order to be more effective from a demand, planning, production, delivery, and economic point of view. You also explore what networks and digital ways we need to implement to take our next-generation planning journey one step further. The aim is clear – we’re transforming our entire planning and supply platform to meet the needs of our customers.
In close cooperation with the Production Management team and our production organization and with our stakeholders and the wider business, you identify opportunities, synergies, risks, and gaps, and you optimize our structure and ways of working. In addition, you mentor us to implement and adapt to change, support and develop your team. You’re also a central player in our Sandvik Coromant Global Planning Management team.
The team is seated in Sandviken, however since we’re always looking for the most suitable competence, this position is globally flexible. Travel is included in normal circumstances.
Your profile - Inspire us!
To truly enjoy this role, you have several years of experience in leadership and a deep understanding of planning, inventory, and supply. You have held leading positions with responsibility for people and performance management. We consider the knowledge of the entire planning and supply process as mandatory, and you're eager to exceed our customers' expectations. You already have the skills in, or are keen to learn, the system SAP IBP. Your background includes a relevant degree in logistics, and you understand the benefits of digitalization and new technology. Since we act on a global scene, you must be fluent in written and verbal English.
