Are you an experienced Graphic Designer with an excellent eye for design and good attention to detail? Do you wish to work in a successful company in the medical device industry? Cochlear BAS is looking for a Senior Graphic designer to join the in-house bureau at the marketing department. Your role will be to oversee Cochlear BAS graphic design work and create visual concepts to support the company's communication initiatives. You will also ensure implementation of Cochlear's graphic design requirements in marketing material. Importantly, you will provide guidance to graphic designers, consultants and external agencies. Your main responsibilities will be to . To create launch themes in conjunction with the marketing and other departments. . Give art direction relating to the brand identity to the marketing department and additional internal departments . Give art direction relating to the brand identity to external vendors: illustrators, media agencies, photographers, translation agency, copywriters. . Provide verbal and productive support on communications/media projects (from a graphic design perspective) as required . Create the graphic design of materials in accordance with brand guidelines: - Corporate and product specific promotional material - Corporate and product specific mandatory material - Other publications (print and electronic) - Web material . Implement and manage workload effectively You are an experienced Graphic Designer and you have worked in a similar role in communication agencies, marketing departments or other creative environments. You have an education within graphic design or communication. You are creative but you are also a well organized and structured person. You work well in a team and are willing to learn from others and share knowledge. Ability to work to tight deadlines and simultaneously on different projects and to handle multiple requests is essential as well as ability to be disciplined within design specifications. Furthermore you are a good user of In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat and you have a solid knowledge of print preparation and production.
