Graphic Designer to Electrolux

We are now looking for a junior graphic designer to join Electrolux in the Food Preparation and Preservation Design team, Major Appliances Europe. ARBETSUPPGIFTER
- Working within a wider design team you will develop graphic concepts to communicate functionality, features and brand. What is the best way to communicate, inspire, or highlight a new feature of a product to our users?
- Applying, maintaining, and guarding graphic consistency across our portfolio. We work with literally thousands of products across multiple brands, which in turn produced all over the world. A large part of the job is creating maintaining detailed graphic documentation for the consistent application of our graphics in production.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
- A relevant Design Degree and master Adobe Creative Suite is like your second language
- Fluent in English both in writing and speaking, Swedish and other languages is seen as a merit
- At least 2 years of working experience within logotypes

This type of graphics work is not the same as doing album artwork or movie posters. For this role you need to be meticulous, precise, organized, and disciplined. Perhaps most importantly, you must love a sense of order, of libraries and graphical hierarchies. Our symbols library is like a kit of LEGO bricks, every new piece added must fit perfectly with everything that came before it.

You also need to have knack for communication. Not just in your artworks (though this is of course essential) but also in how you deal with people. Working in an organization as large and complex as ours, there is little room for big egos but a large need for everyday communication, whether it’s with a fellow designer or a factory engineer on the other side of the continent.
