Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The future presents us with more complexity, ambiguity, and challenges, but it also provides more opportunities. To succeed in driving the shift toward a sustainable transport system, we are dependent on a solid finance organization that provides us with a solid financial understanding and accurate data and analysis.

We are now strengthening our team for Financial Planning and Management Reporting at Scania’s HQ in Södertälje.

Job summary

You will be part of a small and diverse team, where you will be working closely with finance colleagues at the different functions at Scania and in the TRATON Group, as well as with other key professionals at Scania. Excitingly, you will also get to present our financial plans to the Executive Board and our owners, to support them with financial insights to enable key business decisions.

You will support with financial planning perspectives, both short- and long-term as well as performance management and analyses. You will coordinate, plan and execute the process that you are responsible for as well as continuously improve our processes, deliveries, and systems. You will also build P&L, Balance sheets, and Cash flow statements.

Your profile
You are a team player and passionate about finding solutions together with your team. You still have the ability to fold up your sleeves, but simultaneously have a strong strategic mindset and understanding of the context. You are motivated by complexity and to make it understandable for your stakeholders or peers. All in all, you know what it takes to contribute in an international environment in terms of drive, coordination, and communication at all levels.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a university degree in Business Administration and at least a few years of relevant working experience. Your background may vary, but we expect you to have a good financial understanding and analytical skills. You should be able to look at the financials from a helicopter perspective, but also be able to dig into the details behind, having an understanding of how the details affect the bigger picture. Experience of Group consolidation is meritorious. Good knowledge in both written and oral English is required, while Swedish is meriting.
