In Sweden, Stadler Service carries out maintenance, repairs and refits of rail vehicles. With Swiss precision, we strive to deliver high quality products and services to the Swedish rail industry. Stadler Service Sweden has a strong presence, employing more than 400 people, based in our well-equipped workshops in Tillberga, near Västerås, Hagalund, Stockholm and Eskilstuna.


YOUR TASKS
As Head of Business Development, you directly report to the Managing Director of Stadler Tillberga. With your project team, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and actively supporting key improvement projects to increase efficiency along the entire value stream. In detail, you are responsible for
the Tillberga PMO (Project Management Office) which is driving all relevant activities towards operational excellence for the whole site together with management
coordinate key improvement projects
support actively implementation of cross-functional improvements
analyze and develop and coordinate implementation of
key processes along the value chain
optimize interfaces and interface management between departments
hiring, leading and developing talented staff in the project environment (PMO)
representing improvement projects to the Managing Director and Stadler Group



YOUR PROFILE
To enjoy and be successful as our Head of Business Development, you should have:
Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
Technical experience in complex projects within a production environment (ideally in machinery or railway industries or other project or service businesses)
Many years of industry experience working in agile environments
Conceptual & analytical strength
Methodical, structured way of working
Experienced in communicating with senior management
High motivation level, commitment and ability to integrate
Fluent Swedish and English in text and speech is mandatory, German is a plus

We would like to see you have prior experience in optimization & turnaround projects, preferably with a focus on process development and improving cross-departmental cooperation, project management, lean management, operational excellence.
You have the ability to build trust, confidence and commitment to drive the issues you and others along the value chain are confronted with. You are communicative as a person with the ability to collaborate and interact with functions on all levels.
To enjoy the role as Head of Business Development, you should have good self-knowledge and know how to motivate and engage people. Among colleagues, you are also described as a pragmatic, solution-focused and development-orientated person.
