What we offer

As the head of Global Compensation & Benefits, you'll be at the heart of this change from a people perspective.  
What you’ll do
•    You lead a team responsible for everything from Global Rewards Directives, Global incentive schemes and Pension & Insurance strategy to executive compensation; in addition to safeguarding local implementation of global initiatives and acting as business advisors in C&B matters.
•    You will help design global compensation structures in line with our blueprint and ensure local implementation. 
•    You will Govern local compensation processes to maintain global alignment. 
•    You will collaborate with experts from various areas within our organization and engage with stakeholders across Volvo Cars, from PX colleagues to the leadership team of the company. 
•    You will also work closely with the Board of Directors, as you are responsible for materials submitted to the People Committee. 

The role currently has 5 direct reports, one of which is leading the team dedicated to Comp & Ben in Sweden. In addition, there is a global network of regional C&B experts that you will be driving. You will report the head of Employee Relations & Operations and be part of that leadership team. In addition to Compensation & Benefits, the function has global responsibility for a variety of areas such as Labour Affairs, Shared Services, Payroll, PX Digitalization, Health & Safety and Security. 

Comp & Ben has just embarked on a huge change journey implementing SuccessFactors globally as well as creating a new compensation structure connected to our global job framework. To drive this change globally, while at the same time managing the regular C&B processes and, in those driving continuous improvements, is a challenge that triggers and engages you – you really want to make a difference!

What you’ll bring
We are looking for you with extensive international experience in Compensation & Benefits. To succeed in this role, we believe you also have:
•    A Bachelor's in either Human Resources, Finance, or similar. 
•    Experience from working, preferably leading a Compensation & Benefits function in a Swedish-listed environment. 
•    Proven ability to lead C&B projects and drive change. 
•    Experience in implementing a compensation structure connected to a job framework. 
•    Familiarity with the Success Factors platform is a plus.

Where you will be 
You will be based out of Gothenburg, or hybrid with frequent traveling to Gothenburg.
