You will lead the Global Procurement team that today consists of four people. The team is responsible for all procurement, supplier management and sourcing activities globally. The position is responsible for developing suppliers in short and long term considering Total Cost Management with focus on continuously improvements regarding prices, service, logistic set-up and quality. Together with your team, you are one part of making sure that we develop and manufacture safe, reliable and compliant products.
Your responsibility
Lead and develop the team of procurement professionals to ensure best industry practice in supplier management, materials availability, negotiations and contract management
Development and execution of global Procurement and Supplier strategy
Develop & implement commodity and category strategies that are aligned with business needs for quality, cost, delivery and growth
Establish strong working relationships with all business partners across the organization to motivate change and adherence to applicable policies and processes
Lead, maintain, and drive process improvements for the procurement process including developing bids, requests for proposals, and the signing of supply agreements with vendors
Seek, identify, evaluate and recommend appropriate primary suppliers and, when necessary, secondary suppliers
Proactively identify cost savings through re-engineering and other methods besides RfQ and negotiation
Collaborate with the Legal function to develop and implement contract review policies that promote standardized agreements
Communication of procurement strategy, processes, and results to partners and leadership – conducting meetings and reviews as necessary to drive timely procurement processes
Collaboration with internal partners to resolve supplier quality and/or services issues as appropriate
Support audit requirements.



Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering or logistics is required
Minimum 5 years of experience from Purchasing and Supply chain Management
Minimum 3 years of management experience or shown leadership personality
Ability to develop, design, implement, and monitor plans, policies, procedures and systems.
Expertise in all aspects of the procurement function and workflow: vendor assessment, purchasing negotiations, reviewing contracts, contract management, etc.
Have a proven track record of leading vendor relationships demonstrating negotiated savings, high quality and service
Ability to analyze, review and advise on contract terms and conditions
Strong Business English language skills
Possess strong communication and leadership skills
Possess strong interpersonal, influencing, problem solving and time management skills
Knowledge of ERP system
Knowledge about standards and/or regulations affecting the quality management system e.g. ISO 13485/US FDA Quality System Regulation
Knowledge about standards and/or regulations affecting the environmental management system e.g. ISO 14001
Knowledge about regulations affecting financial process e.g. SOX
