We’re now looking for an ambitious and communicative Head of HR Global Sales and Marketing for the Sandvik Coromant Global Sales and Marketing organization, with more than 2 000 employees worldwide. In this key, strategic position, you engage in enabling our Sales and Marketing Strategy, working closely together with sales and marketing executives, and leading the HR organization to drive our growth ambition, significantly lift our performance, increase competitiveness in our markets and clearly support our goal to create an “ultimate customers experience” with the right competences for the future.


Key performance areas
As Head of HR Global Sales and Marketing, you’re responsible for enhancing organizational performance and the business from an HR point of view. This includes supporting sales and marketing and HR strategic initiatives, contributing in setting the HR roadmap for the future of Sandvik Coromant Global Sales and Marketing and creating synergies with other functions and departments within the company. Performance management, talent and succession management and diversity and inclusion are important responsibilities, as is developing the HR organization within your area. You support managers in carrying out change initiatives by offering expertise and tools, and you take full ownership of the HR delivery model, with a continual dialogue and close cooperation with HR functions to ensure high quality support for our business. You proactively suggest and implement relevant performance development metrics and programs as well as evaluate the current organizational set up in order to secure right staffing and competences for the future.
In this position, you’re an active member of the Sandvik Coromant Global Sales and Marketing and the Sandvik Coromant HR management teams. You’re also responsible for leading a global HR management team of around 30 people supporting our five sales areas and sales and marketing global functions. You report straight line to the Vice President and Head of HR for Sandvik Coromant and have a dotted line reporting to our Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales and Marketing who you work closely with. In your area of responsibility, you also have HR services teams hosted that also supports other parts of our business.
This position can be located any of our sites worldwide – however, you’re preferably located at one of our sites in Europe. Travel is a natural part of your work.


Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant academic background and – more importantly – extensive experience from managing and understanding the wide spectrum of HR in a global, complex, and multicultural arena. You have a strong leadership style that matches our company culture of fair play, diversity, and inclusion, as well as employee development. You’re used to working in customer-centric organizations, with experience in strategic planning, managing structural changes and creating great collaborations. This role also comes with a rather high exposure and you’re comfortable in the spotlight; communicating and presenting your message in a clear and inspirational manner, which means that you must be fluent in English.
