At our Industrial Metrology division, we’re passionate about accelerating the growth of digital solutions and right now, we’re looking for an experienced, business minded and forward-thinking Head of HR to join our global Industrial Metrology division in a stimulating role. The job
You take full ownership of the HR delivery within our division and enhance organizational performance from an HR perspective, in alignment with our business needs. By liaising with business line managers and guiding the division, you develop and implement an employee-centric and performance-driven culture, closely linked to our overall business strategy.
You’re responsible for a wide range of HR matters in our new and growing organization, including performance management, integration of HR systems and yearly HR processes. You enable change management, restructuring and reorganization, and as we have a strong growth journey, you also work with integration of company culture in recently acquired companies and business units. Supporting our goal to become the employer of choice and amplifying quality of leadership are focus areas – and not to forget the importance of enhancing employee engagement.
To attract and retain exceptional competence, you partner with our talent acquisition and recruiting support in driving global recruitments and strengthening our digital tech talent management. Furthermore, you’re accountable for developing networks and establishing partnerships, both internally and in relevant industries and universities, and you liaise with HR contacts across the globe to ensure alignment with local legislation and agreements. You take an active part in forums and networks, being an important member of the SMF HR functional management team and collaborating within the Sandvik HR community.
You report to the President of Industrial Metrology and actively contribute in Industrial Metrology management team. The location for this role is preferably at our headquarters in Stockholm or any of our Swedish sites, but other locations can also be considered for the right candidate. Global travel is a natural part of the job.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with an academic background within HR, and most important – an extensive working career within this field. You have a successful history of coaching people in an international setting, as well as of working with management teams. You also have solid experience from leading HR projects and a profound knowledge of HR processes and HCMS systems such as Workday. As we’re a global player, you naturally need advanced skills in English.
