About the job
You’ll be joining a company that has set the foundation for growth, and you’ll manage our brand-new HR Operational Excellence function with the main mission of developing and driving our People Strategy and improving our HR business performance – ensuring that everything we do supports our strategy. This is done in collaboration with the SMR HR Management team as well as other internal and external stakeholders, and you take responsibility for our yearly People Strategy process, annual planning and follow-up of the HR functions performance metrics. You lead and drive our HR technology agenda, ensuring that we develop and implement system related solutions that takes our HR function to the next level. You work in close collaboration with IT and manage a portfolio of projects related to the next generation of HR solutions, as well as managing pre-studies and implementation projects.
Keeping up with market trends and best practices in the area of digital HR tools and processes is important, and you share your knowledge and insights with stakeholders at all levels, as you also represent SMR in the Group HR Tech Forum. As we have a strong growth agenda, you also support the business in HR related M&A activities related to systems and processes.
You report to, and act in close collaboration with SMR Vice President & Head of Human Resources, and you’re a valued partner of the SMR HR Management team. You’ll be located in Stockholm, Tampere, or one of our other major SMR locations, and occasional travel to our business units around the world is part of the job.
We’re looking for someone with broad knowledge of IT systems and data management, preferably in connection to HR, who have worked both strategically and operationally in a global environment for several years. You’re good at managing projects, used to navigating in a decentralized organization with cross-functional collaborations and close contact with managers and HR, and you’re comfortable in presenting to Executive Management. We expect an interest in new digital solutions and it's a plus with experience of working with ERP and management systems such as SAP, Workday and BPC. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
You’re characterized by a structured, pragmatic and compliant way of working, and you capture opportunities without losing track of our direction. You have a data-driven approach, and with a strategic and holistic view, you respond timely on business requirements and act on both urgent, short-term and long-term objectives. In all of your work, you rely on strong stakeholder management and great collaborations, and you empower people to find efficient solutions, look at new perspectives and share best practices.
