Head of HR Operational Excellence

Arbetsbeskrivning

Sandvik is a company that has advanced, changed and made history for over 150 years. We’re forward thinkers, driven by our passion to continuously innovate smarter solutions and enable important shifts. In 2020, the Group had approximately 37,000 employees and revenues of about 86 billion SEK in more than 160 countries within continuing operations. One of our key success factors is our brilliant people – the ones who brought us to the market-leading positions we hold today. To continue attracting, engaging and developing top talents in the best possible way for our business, we’re now making a move towards an even more employee-centric and agile approach.
In line with the Sandvik Shift strategy – our platform to enable necessary shifts, focusing on growth, sustainability, customers, agility, digitalization and of course; employee value – we’re now looking for a Head of HR Operational Excellence to develop and drive an important area across the Sandvik Group. Are you ready to embark on an exciting career where you get the chance to work together with brilliant minds and shape best practices in an international arena?
About the job
As you lead our HR Operational Excellence function, your role is split in two main missions. One is to drive and develop our People Strategy and HR business performance process through solid structure, control and analysis, while ensuring that everything we do supports the company strategy. The other part is to take responsibility for the yearly process regarding follow up and planning of Sandvik Group’s strategic objectives and key results (OKR). You enjoy dynamical workdays, and you set new ways of working by collaborating with the Sandvik HR Management team and other internal and external stakeholders.
Also included in your responsibility are:
People strategy – yearly process and planning together with Sandvik HR management
The HR function’s OKR’s and scorecards – annual planning and follow-up
HR governance ways of working
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
HR Survey – following up on user experience to further develop our HR delivery

You strategically manage a small team of experts covering workforce analytics and PMO, and with an overlooking view, you plan and set up meeting structures and conferences for our HR management to enable good collaboration and transparency. As we have a strong growth agenda, you provide support to the business in HR related M&A activities with focus on integration when needed.
You report to, and act in close collaboration with our Vice President & Head of Human Resources, and you’re a valued member of our HR Management team. You’re based at our headquarters in central Stockholm or any of our other Swedish sites, and some travel is needed in the role.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a relevant background including several years’ experience of performance management – development and follow-up of scorecards, KPI’s and OKR’s combined with a curiosity of exploring it further in the HR context. You’re used to navigate in a decentralized organization with cross-functional collaborations and close contact with managers and HR leaders, and you’re comfortable in presenting to stakeholders on all levels including Executive Management. We expect an interest in new digital solutions and advanced knowledge of Office 365 as a natural tool for digital collaboration. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
You’re characterized by structured and analytical ways of working, and you capture opportunities without losing track of our direction. You have a data-driven approach and with a strategic and holistic view, you respond timely on business requirements and act on both urgent, short-term and long-term objectives. In all of your work, you rely on strong stakeholder management and great collaborations, and you empower people to find efficient solutions, look at new perspectives and share best practices.
