Established in 2024, Scania Depot Charging Solutions is a start up with the ambition to grow fast and accelerate towards our mission: "to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system". As a fully owned subsidiary of Scania our goal is to be the number one partner to our existing and potential customers looking to accelerate their electrification journey through depot charging.

Job description
As Head of operations, you will play a vital role in making sure our customers' charging infrastructure are operating at their best way. Providing supreme uptime to our customers' near charging infrastructure. In the short term your focus will be to build an operations organisation and way of working that secures operations of charging for our customers fleet. This includes setting an efficient fit for purpose organisation around support (including first, second and third line) and service network. In the medium to long term the ambitions is to develop the organisation into a more preventive support function by monitoring and securing uptime for our customers.

Your responsibilities
* Part of the management team of the company
* Build the base plate of our operation organization and develop it further.
* Collaborate with HR to attract, recruit and retain talent.
* Lead the work to ensure a cost-effective way of working within operations
* Lead the improvement operational management systems, processes and best practices
* Ensure dialogue with Procurement & Logistics so that materials, inventory and overseeing of warehouses are efficient for the operations
* Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant
* Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
* Manage budgets and forecasts
* Cooperation with and find ways to increase quality of customer service
* Plan support in the commissioning of new charging stations
* The work will also involve being involved in projects to create a world-class operational organization

We're looking for
* BS in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, civil engineer or similar
* Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience within similar areas
* Proven working experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
* Proven leadership experience and experience from building high performing teams
* Excellent communication skills and strong collaborator used to manage several stakeholders as well as internal and external partners
* Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
* Experience budgeting and forecasting
* Familiarity with business and financial principles
* Outstanding organizational skills
* Pragmatic and solution oriented, business minded and with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Flexible for international travels including overnight stays
