Sales Area Northern Europe, supporting the business areas Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) and Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP), are responsible for sales and service activities in 21 countries, divided into 5 territories in northern, central and eastern Europe. Our business is split between the mining and construction industries, and our customer base represents a wide variety of applications.

Your role and responsibilities
As our HR Manager you’re a member of the Management team for Territory Northeast Europe (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Baltics). Being part of the sales areas HR team, you drive and handle cross functional initiatives, both within your own and other sales areas. You contribute to developing the organization's business strategy and provide HR expertise and support to achieve strategic business goals. Creating and securing the implementation of the People Strategy within the organization, you ensure compliance with global policies, local legislation and labor agreements. In addition, you manage and secure HR policies and processes such as talent & succession management, performance management, employee engagement, DE&I, together with talent acquisition and onboarding. We expect you to act as our change agent and support managers in driving change by offering expertise, methods and tools.

The location for this position is Veddesta (Stockholm) or Sandviken and travel to our sites in Northeast Europe is a natural part of your job. You report to Territory Manager Northeast Europe with a dotted line to the HR Director Sales Area Northern Europe.

Your profile and qualifications
We’re looking for you with a degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent and you have extensive experience working in several HR processes. Industry experience is highly valued and as we act in an international setting you must have very good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

You’re a self-motivated leader who has the ability to get people on board easily. By being focused and proactive, you’re motivating us in the mission to drive culture development. You show excellent communication skills and steadily build trust and commitment. Making proper decisions, even in times of uncertainty, you set ambitious targets, deliver promises and follow-through.
