IES Bromma is looking for a qualified IT teacher

Internationella Engelska Skolan i Bromma, an independent secondary school with Years 6-9 and is part of a growing organisation which now consists of 14 schools throughout Sweden.We follow the Swedish curriculum although the teaching language is mainly in English.We offer a safe learning environment, where respect for each other permeates the whole school.Both staff and students come from all over the world bringing interesting knowledge, experience and possibilities into the school.The school is located a short walk from nearest subway station Brommaplan.Your role Your main role is to help develop the schools use of IT both for administrative and pedagogical purposes, and find solutions to problems.This includes staff training, general help, updating the website, and administrative work in SchoolSoft.The position also includes 11 hours of teaching Year 8 and 6 IT-literacy classes.We are looking for a person that is willing to take initiative and is able to communicate with users less experienced with IT. Qualifications / Requirements *Indepth knowledge in the Microsoft Office package, especially Microsoft Excel or equivalent spread sheet program.*Experienced with Smart Boards *Focused on solutions *Experience of CMS *Experience of programming (.NET/C#/VB.NET, MsSQL) is a merit but not a requirement.The person we are looking for is a dynamic, positive and a good team player.Mentorship will be part of the job description.
