Right now we're looking for a Indirect Tax Specialist. Someone who is great in managing VAT, GST and sales tax. Someone who loves to work with indirect tax in a proactive way, and share best practice? That someone who share our passion for home furnishing and communication?

As Indirect Tax Specialist you will support, guide and monitor the Inter IKEA group companies in Sweden and, in particular, IKEA Communications to ensure that the companies act in compliance with respect to the indirect tax rules and secure that we fulfil all the compliance obligations in the area of indirect taxes (e.g. VAT, GST, Consumption tax, Sales tax) in an effective and efficient manner. You will also:

-Ensure the quality of all indirect tax filings within the Inter IKEA companies in Sweden, by determining controls and performing quality checks and reviews.
-Secure the implementation and maintenance of the indirect tax control framework for the Swedish companies and execute necessary actions to further develop and support the framework.
-Actively support the business with indirect tax advice and ensure proper development and maintenance of indirect tax relevant systems and processes.

In your role, you also actively secure a good level of indirect tax knowledge and awareness amongst relevant stakeholders in our organisations.

To be successful in the role, we think you have:

-Master degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics
-Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a comparable function or with a ?Big 4? company as indirect tax specialist
-Advanced and up to date knowledge of indirect tax and (preferably) customs rules and procedures
-Self-starter and ability to work autonomously
-Familiar with setting up and maintaining internal control procedures
-Ability to interact with stakeholders in a professional and transparent manner ? good communication skills
-Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
-Must be well organized and structured
-Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
