We are currently looking for an
Industrialization Engineer in our nicely located office in Stockholm.


Your mission will be to:

Control the industrial control of the special processes and to manage industrial quality, cost and delivery of signalling products during all life cycle.
In this role you will be part of a global team and working close together with the Product Design Authority for a wide range of signalling products.


Your responsibilities will include:

Tender:Contribute to tender phase, especially in product design an industrialization to take into account industrial constraints and requirements in order to optimize cost and minimize risks when needed
Concurrent Engineering:Define the most efficient industrial scheme (prototype, serial & repairs)
Contributes during specification and design phases to technical solutions decisions associated to special processes
Build the special process REX (Return of Experience) and interact with product engineering to redirect the design if necessary
Performs in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and support DFT (Design for Testability) in the electronic HW development process.
Industrialization:Manage industrial risk through Process FMEA and associated improvement action plan. Foster generic FMEA for standard manufacturing process (e.g. electronic products)
Define requirements and rules (Design for manufacturing) for associated tooling necessary to start production
Qualify the product/process pair as well as industrial means to be put in place in line with the design
Support sourcing and SQD teams in the suppliers’ qualification and in quality follow up for suppliers concerned by SP (Special Processes). Contribute to development of suppliers
Manage evolution of quality control process dedicated to SP
Ensure deployment and validation of new processes in line with product/ project planning
Issue relevant documents in the Quality System
Support Transfer of Technology on SP: documentation, process and means validation, training
Complies with EHS Alstom and external standards
Train support functions to business rules linked to SP and DFM.


Your experience and required competencies:

University Degree in Engineering – preferred Electronics
Experience from manufacturing processes – preferred electronics manufacturing
Language skills required: advanced/business fluent level of English. It could be beneficial to have at least a medium level of Swedish.
Experience in working with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, external Suppliers – preferred.
Desired competencies: teamwork, communication, planning, drive for results and flexibility
Flexibility to travel to a low-medium degree required.
