Are you passionate about preventing financial crime? We are now looking for a GFCP Lead Business Analyst to join our Sanctions Change unit and be a part of the exciting world of Sanctions.
About this opportunity
As the Lead Business Analyst within the Sanctions Change Unit, your role involves being a part and drive the Sanctions Change Roadmap, working on numbers of projects that focus on improving sanctions controls and operating model to strengthen Nordea’s capability to manage its financial crime risk. Ultimately, your role contributes to keeping Nordea and its customers and society safer.

What you’ll be doing:
* Demonstrate unique, deep knowledge and be an expert in Business Analysis, techniques and tools, business and market insight
* Support process engineering/mapping activities in order to determine business goals to work towards project deliverables
* Successfully help to define business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical & non-technical requirements/information
* Support and drive the successful execution of our business strategy through design, innovation, and /or implementation of high quality solutions, improvements, and/or products that have a real impact on the user experience. You will also be able to drive effective change management
* Play an active role in project teams, demonstrating ownership, commitment, and initiative in daily work, as well as take lead on assignments requiring engagement of multiple stakeholders
* Lead and support other Business Analysts with your expertise
* Contribute to a compliant, simplified and digitised business, and ensure best possible profitability/cost effectiveness of the business solutions developed
* Support multiple projects across all phases of their lifecycle. Typical responsibilities could include: Strategic Analysis
* Development of business and financial cases
* Support other Business Analysts with your expertise
* Stakeholder analysis and management
* Options Evaluation e.g. lead on options papers for decisions in governance forums
* Requirements Engineering, using a broad range of research methods / Investigation techniques (workshops, interviews, surveys, observation), requirements analysis, cataloguing etc.
* Implementing business change (e.g. Change impact assessments, Training Needs Assessment, Training Materials, Business Readiness Tracking, User Acceptance Testing, Transition to BAU, Post Live issue management etc.)
* Business Benefits Realisation assessments

The team is located in Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Denmark. The role can be based in Stockholm, Helsinki , Tallinn or in Poland (Warsaw, Lodz, Gdynia or Gdansk).

Your experience and background:
* Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills with a focus on data and technology
* Excellent experience working with requirements in IT development activities and to define & document business requirements
* Proven experience working in a complex and international environment in projects
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* Experience in supporting Business Analysts
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills, planning and organisational capabilities 
* Proven experience working within the financial crime prevention industry
* Bachelor´s or Master´s degree and/ or 8-10 years of working as the Business Analyst
* English spoken and written at professional level
