We are now looking for a Lead Engineer for Body area!

 

Description

The Body and Exterior Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will be a part of a team of Engineers, with your primary responsibility for Body area. The Lead Engineer primarily collaborates internally with engineers, designers and technical specialists and externally with suppliers.

The role as Lead Engineer Body involves:

- Manage pre-program work streams/deliverables for body to ensure program content assumptions are feasible and aligned with program financial targets.
- Lead cross functional teams to execute projects within Body area
- Develop, validate, organize and maintain standard operating procedures to capture best practices/guidelines and process’.
- Be part of the development and maintenance of verification and validation methods and procedures that concern body components
- Interface with the core body function to maintain relationships and product understanding – sharing work methods, best practices, specifications, and guidelines.
- Support the design and product development organization with theoretical and practical knowledge on body components
- Establishing and maintaining internal and external networks with body expertise
- Leading/Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
- Deliver all components/systems with quality that meet program function, cost, weight, and timing requirements.
- Manage the relevant body supply base to deliver this content.
- Leading technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development lifecycle

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- University engineering education or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience within Body area, minimum 5 years
- Knowledge in NX or Catia V5, Team Center
- Driver license B
- English, both spoken and written.
