What we offer
The Deceleration Agile Release Train (ART), within Solution Vehicle Motion & Climate, is responsible for development and verification of the brake system. We are now looking for a experience GDL/lead engineer for the team Brake Modulation Hardware/Mechatronics.

What you will do
You will work with realization of a safety systems both for conventional and AD vehicles and be the go-to-person for hardware design mechanical and hydraulic realizing functions and attributes need. You will work in close connection to suppliers to secure quality deliveries in time. You will develop redundant solutions for autonomous driving and lead the implementation of the system in the car.

You will be working in a cross functional team with agile processes and tools. You will lead collaboration with other teams and with suppliers. The team is responsible for the implementation and quality assurance of hardware for brakes.
Team tasks include planning and organizing project including deliverables selection of suppliers, releases, analyzing and problem solving, requirement specification.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have a MSc degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering. In your professional career you got experience from product development and project management. You need to have a driver’s license (B), and you are of course fluent in English, both oral and written. 
If you have knowledge of the Brake System area as well as previous experience of Agile methods and GDL work preferable from Volvo Cars, we consider it highly meritorious.

Who are you?
To fit in this role, we believe you as a person are positive with a high motivation level and a never-give-up attitude. You are structured and comfortable with defining work plans and coordinating it with others incl suppliers. You are self-motivated and with a proven ability to take initiatives, plan and execute. Last but not least you are a good communicator with capability of developing and maintaining networks.
