To the division Crushing and Screening, part of Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, we’re now looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Web Developer, oftentimes also referred to as Frontend Developer, to drive the development of our digital offering platform. An operation centric platform as an extension of the equipment we already produce and sell today, with an objective to set the foundation for how we aim to build digital business with our customers – to fit into their overall digital set up. Your mission
In this position, you take ownership for the entire web and frontend development stack. You ensure the digital offering platform development according to business demands and that improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency and generate excellent customer experiences. With a broad perspective, you interpret business issues and identify innovative solutions, enabling you to recommend best practices. As a part of a small DevOps team you’re responsible to design develop, tests and debug software with focus on frontend components. Working closely with various stakeholders across the business, and in collaboration with system architects, tech lead, digital product owners and UX-designers you perform pre-studies and determine systems software design requirements and develop systems – considering scalability, security, accessibility and extendibility. Furthermore, you’re responsible for time estimates and generate system software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
The location for this position is Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Copenhagen, and with our site located just across from the train station. For the right candidate, an alternative location is possible, however, you need to be present in Svedala at least one to two days per week.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in web development using JavaScript/CSS and at least one of the major frameworks, such as React.js or Angular.js, as well as a degree in Computer Science or the equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. Knowledge of development with Java, iOS, C# or C++ is beneficial. As we act in a truly global environment you need excellent English skills, verbally and in writing.
