Maintenance Manager Downstream

We are now ramping up the recruitment for our gigafactory in Skellefteå and are looking for a Maintenance Manager s to our production. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories with the aim to produce the worlds greenest Lithium-ion battery. Job Scope
High level purpose of function
Develop and execute maintenance strategy for downstream area with world class mindset in terms of availability and cost.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Overall areas of responsibility and activities
Implement, manage, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
Overall responsible for development and execution of maintenance strategy in downstream area.
Recruit, train and develop a world class team for maintaining the downstream area.
Responsible for setting strategies together with purchasing for what need to be maintained internally and for which areas that should be outsourced.
Create and execute plans for preventive and reactive maintenance.
Responsible for developing the “4Ms” within the area – Manning, Machine, Method and Materials
Create, continuously improve, document, and make available for maintenance purpose: General maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Work instructions, Defect Libraries, Deviation reports with root cause analysis, Measure and follow up on results.
Cross functional cooperation across different departments and facilities is essential to accelerate know-how transfer Input to design team, process engineering team and purchasing team when ordering new machines and equipment.
Continuous improvement organization: using data driven approaches to increase cost efficiency, organization efficiency and service level of organization.
Budget for investment: The downstream maintenance manager shall prepare, seek approval, and manage the investment and maintenance budget for his/her area (beyond major expansion projects that will be planned by the Project Organization)

Requirements
Education or other qualifications or competences relevant in order to succeed in the job
Qualifications/education/experience
BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent University degree with good understanding of basic financial principles
Proven leadership in large manufacturing organizations (50+ people)
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience of similar role with management and manufacturing

Specific skills (eg specific programmes, languages, certifications etc)
Must be fluent in English, written and oral
Swedish language is to be seen as an advantage but not a must.
Knowledge of European legislation and work environment
