ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Based in central Malmö is Malmö Borgarskola, International Baccalaureate. This Outstanding Diploma Programme is seeking to appoint two teachers with experience and competence in the following subject combinations:

• Economics and Business & Management (100%),
• Global Politics, History, English, Social Science (100%)

The positions are permanent employment.

We are looking for gifted teachers to join our outstanding team that will bring their own special areas of interest or research to benefit our international student body. The successful candidates will as all national programmes run over three years the IB is a two year programme so in their first year at the school students are given a thorough grounding in the skills they will need when studying for the diploma in years two and three. Teachers who are not experienced in this curriculum will have the chance to obtain IB training during their time at the school.

Within the role, tutoring of CAS students (Creativity, Action, Service) or advising students applying to universities in the US or UK may also occur.


KVALIFIKATIONER
Applicants must possess the following experience, skills and knowledge:
- experience in an international context
- a strong interest in curriculum development and the authentic evaluation of learning
- a proven track record of work in an inquiry driven teaching and learning environment
- a willingness to use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
- the ability to engage with pupils and maintain a high standard of work at all times
- to see the value in contributing to staff morale and enthusiasm in the department
- to have either EU citizenship or have completed documentation for work in Sweden

Applicants must have a teaching degree and have experience from the IB. It is necessary that you have a very good knowledge of English language. You have excellent IT skills, preferably Mac.
