Right now, Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology and our Crushing & Screening division, is looking for an experienced Manager to take responsibility for M&As and integrations.


Division Crushing & Screening is a market leading manufacturer of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. About the job
In this position, you support our business units in identifying, analyzing and evaluating possible targets for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. You’re overall responsible for managing the entire process - from due diligence, target setting, negotiation, closing and follow up - and you’re a major player in the integration process and all related activities.


By close collaboration with our business units and other functional experts, deal executives and various key stakeholders, you ensure a comprehensive project plan for each deal, including all workstreams and functional tasks, to achieve target value metrics. You set the structure and our ways of working and you implement this to both new and existing projects. Additionally, your understanding of strategic objectives and the ability to provide an early voice on success factors and risks in integration and separation planning help us develop M&A best practices for the entire division.


This position is based at our division headquarters in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station. Travel is a vital part of the job.


About you
We’re looking for someone with a MSc in Business Management or Finance. You have extensive knowledge and solid experience from working with M&As and from leading integrations, preferably in a global, complex and cross-functional setting. To succeed in this position, you also need a proven track record of managing projects and driving various change initiatives. We operate worldwide, and you must be both aware and open-minded towards the cultural differences you encounter. This also means that you need great communication skills, and you’re fluent in English.


You’re investigative, collaborative and flexible, and you combine this with a strategic outlook and the ability to take lead in establishing new ways of working. You’re know for balancing independency with team work, and by communicating with our stakeholders, inspiring change and following up on our work, you make sure we reach profitable results. You’re also confident and engaging, and you embrace feedback, new perspectives and sharing knowledge with others.
