We are now recruiting for a Manager Physical Testing and Method Development
In this role you will oversee and ensure development, testing and delivery of test data accompanied by relevant statistic input and other findings to projects, platforms and factories within assigned area to secure fact based and informed business decisions.
You will lead, manage and coach your assigned team and ensure effectiveness and efficiency in terms of resource utilization and cost management while securing delivery of agreed milestones

Your responsibilities:
Driving the scientific and performance excellence in assigned area as well as identify, develop, allocate and implement new test technologies. Provides input and guidance regarding testing strategies and new concepts to key stakeholders.
Ensures that tests are executed and that test data are delivered in a timely and efficient fashion to support business objectives.
Ensures high-quality and timely support within product development in order to support business objectives in terms of scientific advice, support and tests within assigned area.
Ensures that new models and methods are developed and delivered in a timely and efficient fashion.
Responsible for that the work of own team is compliant with applicable laws, regulations and agreements according to documented order of delegation regarding EHS.
Ensures that regulatory and quality demands are fulfilled within area of responsibility. Analyses tests and report data in accordance with the quality system.
Actively contributing to and implement the R&D Laboratory & Innovation Support strategy and plan aimed at supporting strategic decision making in terms of how & what Molnlycke should focus its efforts on from a scientific viewpoint.


Key Decisions:
Budget decisions in line with agreed budget.
Resource allocation within assigned area of responsibility.
Decision mandate in accordance to appointed role in Mölnlycke QMS and / or other systems, e.g. PLM and LIMS.
Decisions taken in team as expert in area of responsibility, related to:
Test and research methodology
Content on scientific findings


Qualifications:
Relevant Master degree or equivalent working experience.
Relevant leadership experience from line and/or project management positions.
High level of knowledge in assigned area.
Minimum 8 years' experience from relevant area, whereof 2 years from assigned.
Experience of EHS, quality and regulatory demands in assigned area.
Strong ability to coach and motivate co-workers.
Proven ability to handle complex workflows and diverse stakeholders.
Performance driven with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Experience from working in a cross disciplinary environment.
Fluent English written and spoken.
