Arbetsbeskrivning

Are you passionate about driving profitability through building effective pricing strategies and thrive in a collaborative environment? At Sandvik Coromant we’re now looking for a Manager of Pricing and Profitability department to join us. This is a brand-new role with the purpose to develop profitable and sustainable pricing strategies for our offer – working closely with key stakeholders in most functions within our company. Welcome to be part of our world!
About your job
You have full responsibility for pricing strategies across our total product and service offering – developing effective pricing strategies, models, and methods of price setting to optimize revenue growth and profitability. You manage our team of pricing strategists, including managing department’s costs, developing, and coaching direct reports, reviewing and evolving ways of working and processes – both in own team and the ones connected cross-functionally. You establish efficient collaboration, networks, and ways of working with key stakeholders in various offer management departments. Your focus on profitability involves developing strong pricing strategies and continuous control of their proper execution in the markets, as well as coordinating corrective activities with key stakeholders in Offer management, Supply and Sales.
You report to the Head of Pricing and have direct reports across different countries. The location for this job is in either Stockholm, Sweden, Halesowen, UK or Renningen, Germany. Occasional travelling is a natural part of the job.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a university degree in Economics, Marketing, Business, Engineering, or equivalent qualification, combined with documented experience in leading, managing, and developing a team of direct reports. If you have experience in managing international or virtual teams, it’s advantageous. Your expertise extends to product pricing, with a proven track record in profitability management and you show excellent stakeholder management skills as well as a proficiency in big data and analytics fundamentals. Ability to make decisions in situations of uncertainty, balancing emerging interests of key stakeholders, short and long-term business objectives for the function and company in general are also important. As we operate in a global setting, your communication skills in English are excellent and knowledge of Swedish and other languages is a plus.
As a person, you’re a self-motivated team player – comfortable working both independently and proactively within a team. You possess strong organizational skills, enabling you to handle high work volumes and prioritize efficiently. Additionally, your problem-solving abilities, capacity to handle confidential financial information, and capability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines contribute to your holistic skill set.
