Manager, Supply Chain Planning

Then you can be our newmanager for our team Supply Chain Planning, which currently consists of 6 employees with a strong team spirit where they work closely with each other and the Material Planning team in Poland. The location is at ourhead office in central Gothenburg.


Your main focus as Manager, Supply Chain Planning, is to work with and develop Solar´s supply chain, so it continuously will be a competitive advantage for Solar. The main target of the Supply Chain Planning department is to make sure that we have correct article, at correct place, at correct time in correct quantity based on customer demands. This means, among other things, maintaining a dialogue between different departments within the company to optimize inventory levels according to our customers' demand and our logistics strategy. As Manager, Supply Chain Planning, you collaborate throughout the process flow and have a key role in driving our logistics based on our goals and strategy.

Key work tasks
- Lead and develop the team and employees in the direction of the business area's strategies and goals.
- Responsible for analyses, follow up and act on deviations of agreed SLA/KPI.
- Develop tools and methods in order to work in most efficient way within Supply Chain Planning department.
- Initiate and manage tactical projects for continually improving of performance of Supply Chain Planning.
- Manage Sales & Operation Planning processes according to overall guidelines
- Participate in Material Planning / Supply Chain Planning management team meeting cross border.
- Development of replenishment to our Drive-Ins.
- Optimization of product flow to our stores
- Supplier performance review analyses and follow up.
- Close collaborations with the central warehouses


Responsibilities
-  Responsible to follow up and act on deviations of agreed SLA/KPI.
-  Identify target levels on agreed KPI in cooperation with local management team.
-  Lead and distribute work in the supply chain planning team
-  Responsibility of the employees in your team, focus on well-being, development and performance
-  Participate on a global level in the management team within Operations, Material Planning.


Qualifications
-  University degree within logistics or supply chain 
-  5 years’ experience from similar tasks
-  Fluent in English both written and spoken.
-  Experience from work with S&OP.
-  Knowledge in SAP, SO99 is an advantage


Your profile 
We are searching for a person with a very strong modelling and analytical skills.You should have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills where you have strong skills as a negotiator to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment. Have experience in a fast-paced work environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines. Furthermore, you are social and communicative and enjoy working with many contact areas. And of course, you have a great interest in Supply Chain and are interested in developing yourself in this area.
