Marketing Communications Specialist

Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) is a world leading supplier of equipment and complete solutions for the mining and facilities industries.In Sweden, we have facilities from Kiruna in the north to Svedala in the south. The central Marketing Communitions organisation within SMC, are responsible for all global marketing communications channels including the global website.The responsibility includes the global strategy for regional websites.Web & New Media is an area that will be very important for the company moving forward; hence the need to strengthen the current team with a Marketing Communications Specialist focused on Web & New Media.Key performance areas In your role as Marketing Communications Specialist, Web & New Media, you will work closely with the segment web specialists to develop and maintain the global website.In addition to this, you develop the overall web strategy and support the regions and segments in implementing new directives. Your responsibility includes (but is not limited to): -Global web strategy in accordance with Sandvik Group guidelines -Development and implementation of new functionality -Coordination and management of web projects -SEO -Website analyses In addition to this, you will contribute to the overall marketing communications team with project management and other marketing communication related tasks, as needed.Your profile To be successful in this position you will need to have solid previous experience of working with web management and project management.You have a degree in Marketing and/or Communications and have several years of working experience in a global environment.IT experience and/or technical background is an additional qualification.The ideal candidate should be a doer, used to working with several projects at the same time and to getting things done.You should be team-oriented and willing to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.The corporate language is English, which is why the ability to speak and write English fluently is a prerequisite.
