Polestar is Volvo Cars’ performance company and brand. We develop and build products for the performance-minded customer; people who, like us, believe that driving matters and that it is an important part of life. Our knowledge of developing and building performance cars is based on over twenty years of experience of pushing Volvo cars to the limit on racetracks.

As Marketing Project leader you are primarily reporting to Communication Development Manager. Projects will be Polestar Performance Marketing Sales & Services.

This profile needs to have a proven ability to manage and complete projects to the highest standard under tight timescales and budgets, applying effective communication and interpersonal skills, together with a hands-on practical approach to problem solving. This includes coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of projects ensuring consistency with brand strategy, commitments and goals.

You are naturally organised and used to working as a member in cross- functional teams in a global environment.

As Marketing Project leader your main responsibilities are:

• Operational project responsibility
• Manage and drive key milestones and deliverables
• Write and/or review briefs for accuracy and necessary content
• Lead the planning and implementation of briefs with internal and external resources


• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Define, prioritize and track project tasks
• Manage project budgets and project resource allocations
• Report on progress to all project stakeholders
• Manage project changes
• Regular project follow-up and reporting to management


• Project evaluations and assessment of results


Profile requirements:

• Experience in management of global marketing communications projects
• A proven project leader, with ability to lead and inspire various formal and informal teams.
• Deep knowledge and experience from multi-channel communication and especially digital projects covering aspects such as owned/earned/paid, SEO, Google Analytics, native advertising, social media etc.
• Knowledge in project management techniques and tools
• Experience in driving creative processes
• An eye for detail and ability to keep consistency in quality and processes
• Structured and effective with excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach to problem solving
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
