MYP Music Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will carry out the professional duties of a school teacher. You will monitor and support the overall progress and development of students. You will facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
Music to degree or diploma standard
Experience as a teacher.
Excellent communication skills in English.
The ability to establish rapport with adults and students.
An ability to inspire musical passion in students
A pleasant and friendly personality.
The ability to function effectively under pressure.
The ability to show initiative and work independently.

Experience working with students from diverse cultures and countries would be an advantage.
Aligned with the recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection, we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection. Included in the recruitment process will be a local and national police check as well as a mandatory police background check from the last year of employment in every country worked.

Start date: August 10th or as soon as possible
