Do you want to take on a broad role with the freedom to plan and set your own routines, and the chance to truly influence our organization and drive change? To Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we’re now looking for a Planning and Capacity Manager to join us in Svedala – to determine our capacity and convey this information to our production site, and thereby, play a key role in the development of our business.
Your mission
As Planning and Capacity Manager, your goal is to minimize lead times to the customer, reducing net working capital, and optimizing resource utilization with an intact high delivery reliability. You do this by planning the overall production for five production areas within our production unit Svedala and ensuring that market needs are met cost-effectively. Overall, you have two main areas of responsibility: demand and capacity utilization of the production unit as well as driving the make and buy strategy. To help you achieve your mission you have a team of seven experienced and dedicated members by your side.
Key responsibilities
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in developing the department in accordance with the goals and needs of the business
Developing, creating and following up on the KPIs for the department and other areas of responsibility
Ensuring improvements
Making a capacity plan for the production
Performing analyses and delivery plans following a standard operation procedure (SOP)
Understanding and enhancing customer experience by improving the order fulfillment and reducing lead times.

Your character
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Service Management, combined with a few years’ experience as a manager or the equivalent, such as project management. Knowledge in ERP systems, especially M3, is desirable. An understanding for supply chain, production planning and purchase and the industry is a plus. As we’re located in Sweden but act on the global stage, you must be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
