Pricing Manager

The Pricing Manager is a position of strategic importance within the newly established Commercial Support Department at Global Emballage. The main purpose of the role is to ensure profitability by qualified management of the global pricing process. Core Responsibilities Develop and implement the Emballage Pricing Policy Management and review of a product cost calculation model Perform qualified cost and price analysis on request Represent the Emballage pricing process in global projects Continuous development and improvement of the cost calucation and pricing models Statistics and reporting (KPIs) Market surveillance and competitor analysis Ensure correct price connections in related systems Continuous update and review of prices and pricelists Qualifications and experience University degree in Business Administration, MSc degree in Logistics or equivalent At least 3 years working experience Ability to work independently, drive changes and improve existing processes Holistic view and ability to succeed in cross functional collaboration Analytical skills and structured working methods Achievement-driven with high integrity Good and proven communication and presentation skills High computer literacy, especially Excel. Knowledge of VLC's system TIR/V-EMS is considered as a merit Excellent English, both written and spoken Experience in logistics from Outbound, Inbound and/or Emballage process is a merit At Volvo Logistics we are actively working to establish groupings that will take maximum advantage of the strength inherent in differences in knowledge, experience, age, gender and nationality, etc. We find that well balanced working groups increases group dynamics, creativity and new approaches to solutions.
